When you book a table in advance at The General Cafe, you have the luxury of selecting your desired seating location. You can either indulge in the tranquil atmosphere of our shaded courtyard, surrounded by lush greenery, or unwind in our indoor cafe seating area, where you can luxuriate in the refreshing coolness of air conditioning.

Absolutely fantastic General Store. We love supporting these terrific businesses that are so important to their local community. The hamburgers, bacon egg rolls, coffees are delicious with a capital “D”. The team are lovely and the vibe really friendly. We popped in just before heading upto Scout Falls for a walk and swim. November 28, 2024Unlike previous visits there is no access to a rest room. Staff are pleasant although made us go to public facilities at a nearby park and we came back to coffee and toasted sandwiches which were obviously not straight from the kitchen and were cold due to our unplanned sojourn to the public toilets.

Highly recommend! Greeted by warm inviting staff and management. Pleasant setting indoor and outside seating. Set in delightful countryside friendly ambient. Excellent food, excellent service! Thank you we enjoyed the bestest ever real food “Glenreagh hamburger with the works” - homemade ingredients!!! Super scrumptiously finger licking delicious 😋
